An important part of being a professor is to promote scholarship by bringing different people together in unexpected places to have new interactions that foster fresh thinking. That is done through collaboration and visitation. Collaborations with professional and academic colleagues are also an important component of what we do. I have collaborated with colleagues at UC Davis, professors and students at other universities, applied scientists at UC research stations, regulators and staff scientists in government agencies, practitioners in industry, and staff at non-governmental organizations. The lists below indicate people and organizations with whom I have exchanged signficiant ideas; it does not count all co-authors and co-PIs, espcially those on large, interdisciplinary grants who I did not work closely with.
