Week 3 Detailed Activities
In-Class Training continued
This week we will do the second half of the Tuflow training workflow together, so by the end you will have run a 10-m resolution 2D model of the VanillaC4 terrain at 100 m3/s flow. We'll get through the running of the model and basic look at model results. If time permits, we'll discuss the details of the remainder of tutorial 1 that you need to do on your own.
After class, work on your own to do the rest of Tutorial 1. Due next week at class.
Come to Class Having Read
- Read section 6.3 (5 pages total) of the Tuflow 2018-03 software manual to gain an appreciation for the equations and how they are solved numerically.
 - Read section 6.9 (13 pages but many have figures or blank areas) of the Tuflow 2018-03 software manual to gain an appreciation for the handling of bed roughness and rainfall infiltration in Tuflow.
