Video Response Canvas Quizzes
In this class you will be using Canvas' graded quiz system to answer questions associated with each video podcast as a way of assessing your learning course concepts associated with the student learning objectives and for affirmation that you watched the concent. You are scored for whether you get the answers correct, not just for participation.
- No collaboration is permitted between the student and anybody else. except the professor. Students must not tell each other the answers or post answers in public or private forums, etc. The goal is for each student to do the assessment on their own.
Each chapter of material in this course (excluding guest presentations) has 1-3 video podcasts. You are to watch the video podcast(s) for a given date prior to class on that date. This will get you read to do the work on that date.
To help reinforce the concepts from the video podcast lecture, you will answer 1-6 questions in the associated quiz in Canvas.
- I recommend that you fully watch a video podcats and then answer the questions in Canvas.
- You are welcome to individually refer to any and all videos, notes, books, and online resources you wish to answer the questions.
- It helps to view the PDF of the slide presentation when answering quiz questions, because the PDFs have higher resolution imagery than the video podcasts.
Canvas will tell you whether you got the question right or wrong, and it may provide some extra information to help you understand why you got it wrong, depending on the question.
