Background

Stewamwood deposits throughout mountain river corrirdors. This study sought to search for geomorphic and hydraulic controls on where streamwood deposits.

Methods

Streamwood pieces and jams visible in UAV imagery (~ 4-cm resolution) were manually delineated as polygons for a 12.2-km section of the upper South Yuba. This database was integrated with our pre-existing ecohydraulics and geomorphology database fo rthe same river segment. A variety of analyses were performed.
