Background

An important part of being a professor is to promote scholarship by bringing different people together in unexpected places to have new interactions that foster fresh thinking.  That is done through collaboration and visitation.  Upon request I host visitors from other universities who would like to learn what I can offer and see what my group is up to.  I do not have funding of my own to support visitors, but once they arrive I am committed to providing them with meaningful experiences that they and my local gorup can all benefit from.
